Sarah is from the Wambaya people, North East of Tennant Creek and traditional links to Yuggera. At an early age she was interested in music. She travelled with the family group on tour for three years throughout Australia while completing her schooling through a home schooling program.

She is a very warm and generous person and people are easily attracted to her approachable nature. However her gentleness is a cover for her enormous strengths of character she portrays within the Imbala Jarjum business as an Administrator. Her office skills are exceptional and she self taught herself, from what she learnt at school, to operate software such as power point, video production multimedia equipment and musical editing as an assest in the business.

There are a number of talents that Sarah has which include costume designing for their performances, organising events on a small scale for school groups and supporting young people through difficult times in their lives which shows the special person she is. Her dance is her release and the rewards for the supporting role she plays in her life as a friend, sibling and role model.

As she with the rest of the group attend dance classes and rehearsal every Sunday, she is constantly creating new works with a contemporary influence that compliments her cultural performing arts projects. She has facilitated workshops with young people and enjoys the opportunity to present something she has worked had on. She is currently studying for her final years by correspondence and when she finishes she hopes to go to University to major in Human Movement and furhter her dance career and hopefully do studies in Social Sciences to enable her to work with young children to teach them dance, so they can to experience the self esteem and self worth that comes when you are a performer.

Her family is the most important thing in her life however dance is a close second. She enjoys choreographing new works with her sister Rebecca. There most enjoyable moments are when they have been working on piece and it all comes together. She often says that she loves working in this industry as not only do you get rewards from what you have created but also by the audience that you present it to.
