Imbala Jarjum are a dance group consisting of youth who represent the culture of the Peramangk people of the Adelaide Hills. As European settlement effected the Peramangk people in the early days with disease there was only a couple of surviving families, one of these families was the “Hunter” family who are the custodians of this country who we pay our respect. Imbala Jarjum have recreate the attire, language, dance, music to present a unique display of cultural dance with a contemporary influence depicting the diversity of the indigenous culture.
